Bridget Taylor's Balance Buddies

Hey There!  It’s Bridget!

Wow!  I am so incredibly EXCITED about this new program sponsored by RunTex! I know, without a shadow of a doubt, this program will be life transforming!

Paul Carozza, owner of Runtex, has helped me put together a program that is going to be incredibly beneficial to women of all ages.  It will combine Yoga from Breath & Body Yoga Studio Director, Desirae Pierce, in the Annex at RunTex;  drills working on strengthening our core and balance; walking/running on Town Lake with Sunshine from RunTex, breathing in the fresh air and connecting with other women who also have a desire to improve their overall well being!

The best part of this whole thing is that IT’S FREE! One day a week!  Thursday mornings from 9:30am to 11am on Auditorium Shores. We meet at the Run Tex orange water coolers just west of the South 1st Street Bridge near Barton Springs Road  (across the lawn from The Long Center - see map).   If you’ve only got an hour---that’s okay!

Not that motivated but have a desire to make a life change?  JUST SHOW UP the first time and we, as a team, will help encourage and motivate you!

So register for free here and see you on Thursday!

RunTex Carrozza Foundation

Our mission as the RunTex Carroza Foundation is to inspire, engage, and educate communities to achieve active lifestyles. We envision a community, state and nation of people who participate in basic daily activity to build endurance, lose weight and incorporate movement into their lives.  This includes providing personal coaching, education, training opportunities AND connecting these opportunities to individuals, organizations, and schools.  Our mission and goals align with state and national initiatives to address obesity. We hope to improve the quality of life for communities and address the serious health problems facing Americans.

An ex-Lady Longhorn cross country and track and field athlete, she now resides in Georgetown with her husband and two children. With all this on her plate, balance is a goal she continually strives to achieve.

Breath and Body Yoga
Flow yoga links the powerful breath and the dynamic movements of the body. This series of flow cultivates strength, flexibility, balance, focus and endurance. It is an energetic practice that tones the entire body as well as disciplining the mind.  This practice is based on Baron Baptistes Power Vinyasa Yoga. Open to all levels and to all levels of students, this class will leave you feeling light and open to the world.
