Every weekend we play AT LEAST one thousand songs. We didn’t realize it either. Then one weekend we counted. We were amazed. We thought it would probably be best not to tell anyone and let it be our little secret. That lasted for a while…but our boss reminded us that we are a business (something we often forget) and that it would be good business to tell listeners how much music we play. We said but if it is good business and more people listen you’ll be able to sell more commercials and we won’t be playing as much music. Finally we reached a compromise.
